Modern production space meeting high sustainability standards
We delivered the industrial hall in Nýřany in 2020 as the general contractor for our partner CBRE Global Investors and tenant Faurecia (now Forvia). This was the first general contracting project within the Demaco Group, where we established our approach to construction management and the coordination of complex industrial projects.
The building was designed and constructed according to the dmc construct 4.0 technical standard, with a strong focus on adapting it to the specific requirements of the manufacturing operation.
Modern manufacturing space and operational complexity
The building forms part of the expansion of an existing site with highly automated operations and robotic conveyors for the production and storage of car seats. The project also included specific fire protection requirements in accordance with FM Global standards.
Construction took place during full operation of the existing site, placing high demands on coordination, safety, and site organisation.
Fast and efficient delivery
The construction was successfully completed in just 6 months, during the pandemic period, which significantly affected the availability of materials and labour. The project confirms Demaco’s ability to manage construction efficiently even under demanding and uncertain conditions.
Flexibility and further development
The hall has a built-up area of approximately 12,500 m², with the possibility of expansion by an additional approximately 8,000 m², allowing for future growth of the manufacturing operation.
The project also included the construction of a new access road and the relocation of utility networks, creating the foundation for the further development of the entire site.
